About Me

Hey, I’m Glad You’re Here. Let’s Get You Hired!

Hi! I’m really happy you landed on this blog.

I’m Mitch, and I used to work as a software engineer. For years, I was part of teams building tech products, writing code, and working on things that most people never see but use every day.

But after some time in that world, I realized something: I wanted to do more than just build software. I wanted to help people, especially those who are just starting out, who don’t have a job yet, or who feel like the tech industry is out of reach.

So, I created this blog as a place where you can find opportunities, support, and real help without paying a single peso or cent.

You might be wondering, “Wait... you're a software engineer, so why do you call yourself "HR Mitch"?”

Great question! In this blog, "HR doesn't mean Human Resources" in the usual way. It stands for "Helping Recruit", because that’s what I aim to do: help YOU get recruited, land a job, and feel confident while doing it. I’m using my background in tech to open doors for others, especially those who are new or just need a little push.

🎯 Why I Made This Blog

There are so many people out there, maybe you're one of them:

  • Just finished school and don’t know where to start.
  • Can’t find a job no matter how many resumes they send.
  • Want to earn from home but don’t know how.
  • Are new to tech and feel lost or not “good enough”.

If that’s you, I want you to know: you’re not alone, and you’re not too late.

No commissions. No hidden fees. Just real help.

👩‍💻 A Little About Me

I’ve worked on different projects, collaborated with developers from all over the world, and spent countless hours coding and testing. But what I really enjoyed was helping others break into this world.

Now, I want to take everything I’ve learned and use it to help you.

🤝 Who This Blog is For

  • Fresh grads looking for their first job
  • People without experience wanting to start
  • Students, stay-at-home parents, career switchers
  • Anyone trying, but feeling stuck or unsure

You’re in the right place.

If you’re the breadwinner, feeling all that pressure to succeed just so your family’s okay, others are going through this too. Maybe you’ve been doing your best, trying to build a better life, give back to your parents, make them proud… but things keep falling apart. It’s exhausting. It’s unfair. And it hurts. But just the fact that you keep trying, even when it’s hard, means more than you know. You’re not weak. You’re just tired and that’s okay. Take a breath. You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to feel lost. But don’t give up. You still have time. You can still do this. Really.

❤️ A Personal Note on Mental Health

I know what it’s like to have amazing days and really hard ones. If you’re someone dealing with mental health struggles, please don’t be discouraged.

Your worth isn’t measured by your job title or how many interviews you’ve landed. Even on the days when your mind feels heavy and hope feels far, you are still moving forward, just by showing up. Keep going, gently.

You are not alone.

You’re strong, capable, and you deserve a chance just like anyone else. I’m here for you. I got your back.

📣 Let’s Do This Together

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. Stick around. Reach out. Ask for help.

✨ Final Thoughts

If you’re reading this, here’s what I want you to remember:

You’re capable. You’re not too late. And you can do this.

Let’s land you that job. Let’s build something great.

Let’s get started.

With all my support,
HR (Helping Recruit) Mitch
